Australian Pedorthic Lab was founded in Melbourne in 2016 when Pedorthist Peta Newey and Clinical Orthotist Steve Gladstones saw a need in Australia for the production of Custom Medical Footwear and Pedorthic services from within Allied Health Clinics.
Providing quality solutions for Custom Footwear, Footwear Modifications, Foot Orthoses, and Repairs. Offering Pedorthists, Orthotsist, Podiatrist, Physiotherapists and other Clinicians the opportunity to provide the highest quality assistive technology and service to their patients within their own clinics.
Our products are of the highest quality and manufactured locally in Melbourne, using materials scoured from local suppliers where possible.

Peta is Certified Pedorthic Custom Maker has been working in the footwear industry for over 14 years, in Bespoke, Repairs and Pedorthic clinics. With an extensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques, design, materials and lower limb anatomy and medical pathologies.
Steve Gladstones

Steve is a fully qualified Orthotist graduating from La Trobe University in 1989. He has worked in private practice for over 30 years gaining a vast experience in neurological conditions, orthopaedics, fracture management, management of foot and ankle conditions and diabetic foot management.
Steve has been a dedicated team member of High Risk Foot Clinics in the past and is passionate about sharing his knowledge with clinicians to assit them in providing optimal custom footwear outcomes for their patients.
